Computing

At West Rise, we grow digitally literate citizens who…

  • know how to use digital systems and programming.
  • can use a range of devices to express themselves
  • can develop their ideas using technology, including creating systems and a wide range of content.
  • understand how to be responsible participants in a digital world.

Our lessons are enjoyable and purposeful and meet the aims of the Computing curriculum.

Children develop both a good understanding of Computing and how it links to their lives.

They apply the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science. They develop analytical problem-solving skills. They also learn to evaluate and apply information technology.

They will be confident and respectful digital citizens going on to lead happy and healthy digital lives.
